Message	honestly. I can only speculate on that. Perhaps they weren't properly sized and it was a little on the loose side. Rotating assembly could be balanced out of wack. Oil starvation is a possibility, but I'd imagine you would see the effects of that in the rod bearings well before the mains. Taking a guess, I'd say the bottom end was too loose.
